I’ve always had trouble getting my youngest daughter to eat fruit. If she does eat some she’ll nibble at it and leave most of the goodness behind. I decided to try a smoothie maker because she’s tried smoothies in the past and has liked them. So far it’s been a great success, in part because Katie enjoys making them herself and it’s fun thinking up different combinations of fruit. She’s getting far more than her five-a-day now, and enjoys taking a bottle to school too. This smoothie maker is particularly good because you are making the smoothie directly in the cup, and can just screw a lid on afterwards. It’s great for when you need to take something with you for extra energy on a long walk too!
