Fluoride is added to tap water because it leaves fewer children needing fillings.
Fluoride promotes the movement of aluminium from the stomach to the brain which is a major cause of dementia.
If you live in a fluoridated area then you should not use aluminium cookware.
In 1987 research carried out in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and Ruhana, Sri Lanka, showed that water ‘optimally’ fluoridated at one part per million (1.0 ppm), when used with aluminium cookware, concentrated the aluminium to up to 600 ppm. (1) In 1990 in Wisconsin experiments using aluminium cookware showed that aluminium concentration in the water was increased by 833 times and the fluoride content doubled.
It is very difficult to avoid fluoridated water because you ingest it not only through drinking water, but, as fluoride is absorbed through the skin; you will get an unhealthy overdose if you bath, swim or wash in fluoridated water.
Fluoridated water is a medicine and so in theory anyone who receives it through their water supply must give their informed consent. If it is not legal to mass medicate then it should not be added to our water supply.
