It’s a simple rule: a writer who has the self-determination and belief that they can make their work serve as a full-time pursuit – and who is prepared to put in the hours – will be most likely to make money from it.
The hours spent writing and getting your work out there, as well as developing skill and contacts, will give you a better chance to turn it into a successful livelihood.
“I learned that the only way you are going to get anywhere in life is to work hard at it. Whether you're a musician, a writer, an athlete or a businessman, there is no getting around it. If you do, you'll win - if you don't, you won't.” Bruce Jenner.
